Practicing and Promoting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) in DuPage County, Illinois
There is a website which has some very good and very funny pictures of we felines, 'I can has cheezburger'. Each day, they scour our feline world, looking for pics that show the real conditions we cats live in. In my efforts to bring enlightenment to you humans, I will occasionally share these pictures with you.
This first picture is of a personal friend of mine, Rufus. Shortly after this picture was taken, Rufus was brought to the veterinary hospital, suffering from an overabundance of electrical stimulation.
This next picture is of Dr. Kitteh, examining a patient. Sometimes we felines do everything we can to avoid the vet, but still want to be smart with our health. For such felines among us, Dr. Kitteh is the answer.
Finally, we have a heartbreaking picture from our archives, taken when the Soviet Union was still the 'Evil Empire'. It is not commonly known, but cats were also sent to the gulag - below is proof of this:
That last picture always brings a tear to my eye. At last report, the descendents of Boris and Natascha were busy propagating the species as TNR has not yet come to the gulags...

Hello humans! It's time for me to share some feline wit and wisdom with you. This is part of my ongoing efforts to educate you humans on your proper role and the correct way to interact with your feline companions.
This first item is one of the posters in the "Be Prepared" series, hosted by ICanHazCheezburger.com. The lesson in this poster is, besides being prepared, is "You can never have too much cat food on hand".
This next item is a video and was suggested to me via email earlier this week. It's a classic and is part of the best-selling feline instructional video entitled "How to train your human - the basics". The lesson here, of course, is to not ignore your cat when they want breakfast. Doing so will only lead to grief...
Well, I hope you enjoyed this week's lessons! I'll be posting new items next week. In the meantime, if you have any ideas about what you'd like to see in this column, just email them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.."
