Feral Fixers brought 34 cats today to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. 15 of these cats were ferals while the other 19 were 'friendly ferals'.
Super-volunteer Charli helped me pick up the cats from Tammy's this morning and bring them to PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while super-volunteer Stacy helped me pick up the cats from PAWS this evening and bring them back to Tammy's for redistribution and recovery (Thanks Stacy!).
And as always, super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's this morning helping to get the cats ready and loaded into Charli's and my car and was there again this evening for the redistribution and recovery process (Thanks Judy!).
Two of the cats turned out to have been already fixed and a third was judged too ill to have surgery, so a total of 31 cats were fixed today. With these first 31 cats of October, Feral Fixers has now passed the 800 mark for the year (802 to be exact) and is now over the 4,300 mark overall (4,307 in total).
A lot of cats in anyone's book...
