Feral Fixers sent in 39 cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed today. 26 of these cats were true ferals while the other 13 were 'friendly ferals'.
As always, with such a load, it takes a lot of people to make this all work. Super-volunteer Charli helped me pick up the cats from Tammy's today and transport them to PAWS (thanks Charli!) while super-volunteer Jodie helped me pick up the cats from PAWS this evening and transport them back to Tammy's this evening (thanks Jodie!). And, as always, super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's both this morning and this evening helping with everything (thanks Judy!).
One of the friendlies was suspected to have ringworm, so the cat received no surgery. All of the others came through just fine. But it was a late night - we didn't get of PAWS until well after 7pm!
With these 38 cats, Feral Fixers has now processed 48 cats for September, 730 for the year (over 700 already!) and 4,235 overall.
