This past Thursday, we brought six more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed.
Five of these cats were ferals and one was a 'friendly feral'.
I picked up the cats from Tammy's and brought them to PAWS and then picked them up from PAWS and drove them back in the afternoon. The cats were finished by 4pm, so it was an early day for me - no complaints here!
We were allowed to bring in up to 20 this day and we had the word from some caretakers that they were going to trap "up to 10" in their individual colonies, but it didn't happen - so six it was. But that's six more that will not be contributing to the problem of cat overpopulation...
With these six cats, Feral Fixers has now processed eight cats for April, 76 for the year and 3,681 overall.
