Feral Fixers finished March by processing another 10 cats today. Super-volunteer Jennifer drove them to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic this morning (Thanks Jennifer!) while I picked them up and brought them back to Tammy's for overnight recovery and 'distribution'...
While we were at PAWS, their Community Coordinator, Sue Robinson, donated another half-dozen large bags of dried cat food to Feral Fixers. It's wonderful when this happens - some of our caretakers are in poor financial straits and/or are feeding multiple colonies and being able to pass along donations of cat food to them really helps. Thanks Sue! Thanks PAWS! You guys are the best!
With these 10 cats, Feral Fixers processed 118 cats this month. So far in 2010, we've now processed 168 cats, the exact same amount that we had done last year at this time. And, overall, Feral Fixers has had 1,647 cats spayed/neutered.
Thanks again to all of our Volunteers and to PAWS-Chicago for making this all possible. WE COULDN'T DO WHAT WE DO WITHOUT YOU!!
