As I mentioned in the previous post, this is a busy week for Feral Fixers. On Sunday we processed 11 cats and today we did 10 more. Super-volunteer Mary (Thanks Mary!) drove the cats in this morning while I picked them up and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery.
Sometimes you have pickup days at the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic (where we take in 99.9% of 'our' cats to get them fixed) which are very chaotic and hectic and some days, like today, when everything is as smooth as glass. I got there a little later than usual (which may have helped) and everything was done, just waiting for me. I was in and out of the clinic, with all of my paperwork and the 10 cats, in less than 10 minutes! Now, if I could only do something about that rush-hour traffic...
With these 10 cats, Feral Fixers has taken care of 48 cats for the month of March, 98 for the year and 1,577 overall.
