It's so hard to stop a train! Monday, the 9th, we sent two cats to ADOPT for spay/neuter. One was the cat that escaped last Wednesday and was re-trapped Thursday afternoon in my garage. She immediately began meowing and rubbing on the trap and went in as a friendly. The other cat was reported to be a pregnant female feral. In actuality, he was a male. One feral, one friendly, one male, one female. This brings us to 36 for October, 709 for the year and 10,154 since 2007.
Preparations are in full swing for our 10K1K10Yr Open House celebration at the VFW this Sunday - we hope to see you there!
And, our goal was a minimum of 50 attendees for our Wine & Whiskers event on October 24th and we are below the halfway mark on reservations - don't delay, sign up today! Deadline is 10/15. There is always a last-minute rush, can we have that early please? Thank you to all of our supporters!!!
