Feral Fixers took 11 more cats to PAWS on Thursday, June 2nd. Of these, 5 were friendlies and 6 were ferals. There were 9 females and 2 males. Charli transported in the AM and Debbie picked up in the PM.
In addition, the cat from last week, Corin, who had the perforated eardrum went to be neutered at Glen Ellyn - since he needed to be sedated to have a really good look into that ear, we went ahead with the neutering as we don't like to sedate too often, close together. In addition to the perforated eardrum, he had a polyp, which was removed. Hopefully, this will reduce the pressure and inflammation and he will no longer have a head tilt! He is a very happy cat that gives kisses all the time!
He is not up for adoption til we know his long-term prognosis - but he can definitely be fostered by the right home, he tends to fall over due to his lack of balance so needs extra care.
With these 12 cats in these trips, our total for June is 12, our total for the year is 288 and for the year 8,723.
