As part of our “Change their luck” campaign, a couple of generous donors have stepped forward and donated the adoption fee for two of our FIV+ cats. We have several of them available for adoption (just check out our Adoptable cats link – any cat that is FIV+ is so noted in the description) and we would like to highlight a couple of them here.
Rutherford is a very social and friendly 4 year old gray & white boy with a raindrop marking on his nose. Extraordinarily unique!! He likes to meet new people and comes up to say hi to everyone who stops by. Rutherford is a happy, playful and fun cat who enjoys petting, brushing, and batting at his cat dancer. He would love the opportunity to join a family where he could give and receive the love and attention he deserves.
He would prefer to be an only cat in his new home. Rutherford tested FIV+, likely due to a bite wound he received while fending for himself outside. He came to us in January and after recovering from a upper respiratory infection, is now in good health and ready to find his forever home.
Who can resist being gazed at in love and admiration by those beautiful baby blue eyes? That is what the lucky adopter of this handsome boy will have the opportunity to experience. We should have named him Frank Sinatra! Lipton is a super sweet and affectionate 3 yr old all white Siamese mix male. He comes up to greet everyone who stops to meet him.
He loves to be brushed and petted, and enjoys engaging in mild play. Lipton is easy going, loving and gentle. He would make a wonderful companion for a single person, couple or cat-friendly family and would also do fine with other docile, non-aggressive cats. Lipton tested FIV+, likely due to a bite wound he received while fending for himself outside. He came to us in January with a wound on his back leg. The wound has healed and he is now in good health and ready to find his forever home too.
