Over this past week, Feral Fixers made three trips to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic, bringing cats that needed to be fixed. Feral Fixers President Tammy lets us know what happened:

On Sunday, 8/23 Debbie did both AM & PM, taking 5 ferals to PAWS - 3 males and 2 females. They were brought to PAWS because they were there and we couldn't keep them in traps longer than absolutely necessary.

With still more cats on hand, 18 cats were sent in on Wednesday, 8/26 with Charli in the AM and Dedra (welcome back!) picking up in the PM. 5 friendlies, 13 ferals, one friendly was too ill and got bumped. 11 males and 6 females.

With even more cats, 8 went to PAWS on Thursday, 8/27 with Charli in the AM and Debbie in the PM. 3 friendlies and 5 ferals, of which 4 were female and 4 were male.

That brings us to 30 for these three trips, 139 for August, 708 for the year and 7,986 since we began.

Next week #8000 should make the trip!

Thanks to our super-volunteers Debbie, Debbie again, Charli, Dedra, Charli again and Debbie still again!
