Almost three months ago, Judy was trying to trap a cat with an injured tail, with no luck for a lot of reasons, but yesterday GirlyGirl was trapped and went to PAWS today. There was exposed bone at the end of her tail - the PAWS staff cleaned it up, stitched it up and she will spend some time in a dog crate for recovery. She seems inclined to be friendly and may end up staying inside after she is all healed. Paws did this extra for this cat while performing 121 other spay/neuter surgeries today! Their one-day record is 125 so they came very close.
Debbie and Charli made the AM run and Heather & Judy & Rita made the PM pickup - not leaving from PAWS until 8:05PM - yet another late night but with good reason!
Many thanks to Jenny for her help with our paperwork, helping our transporters to get back that much earlier!
Thanks Charli! Thanks Debbie! Thanks Heather! Thanks Rita! Thanks Judy! (and thanks Tammy!)
