Yesterday (Thursday), Feral Fixers brought in 22 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago spay/neuter clinic to be fixed.
I got a break from transport. Feral Fixer president Tammy gives us the details:
2 friendlies
20 ferals
10 females
12 males
PAWS was kind enough to look over a cat that had a long-term eye issue. There's still an eye in there but since there's no infection, all the tissue seemed healthy, they advised he would not need eye removal surgery.
We had more cats show up Wednesday night and despite downsizing into smaller traps and transfers like crazy it was still a tight (shoe horn) fit into Charli's car. Luckily Cathi was able to jump to the rescue and help do pickup from PAWS at the last minute. They might have fit in Dedra's car, but....
Thanks Charli! Thanks Dedra! Thanks Cathi!
With these 22 cats, Feral Fixers has now processed 84 cats for April, 233 for the year and 7,511 overall.
