Feral Fixers brought in 33 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic today to be fixed. 17 of these cats were ferals while the other 16 were 'friendly-ferals', nearly a 50-50 split.
Super-volunteer Charli helped me take the cats from Tammy's this morning to PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while super-volunteer Dedra helped me take the cats from PAWS this evening back to Tammy's (Thanks Dedra!). And, as always, super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's this morning and this evening, helping out with everything that needed doing (Thanks Judy!).
In keeping with our 'nearly 50-50' theme of the day, 16 of these cats were males while the other 17 were females. And, in further keeping with the '50-50 theme', one of the males turned out to have been already neutered while one of the females turned out to have already been spayed.
With these 31 cats fixed today, Feral Fixers has processed 85 cats for March, 149 for the year and 7,427 overall since our inception.
