Last Sunday, the 8th, Feral Fixers brought in six more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. All six of these cats were ferals. Super-volunteer Maureen made the trip both ways; picking up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and bringing them to PAWS and then picking them up from PAWS in the afternoon and bringing them back to Tammy's in the afternoon for recovery and distribution. Thanks Maureen! Four of these cats turned out to be males while the other two were females.

And yesterday, Feral Fixers brought in 22 more cats to PAWS to be fixed. These were evenly split, 11-11, between ferals and friendly ferals. I did the trip both ways this day; picking the up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and bringing them to PAWS and then picking them up from PAWS in the afternoon and bringing them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution. Super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's in the morning and afternoon, helping out with everything that needed doing. Thanks Judy! One of the ferals turned out to have been already neutered while one of the friendlies had a grade 4 heart murmur and was deemed too risky for surgery so 20 out of the 22 cats were fixed on this trip. 12 of these cats turned out to be males with the remaining 8 being female.

So, a total of 26 cats were done on these two trips. This brings our June total up to 46, our yearly total up to 414 and our overall total up to 6,390.
