Feral Fixers brought in 13 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic today to be fixed. Eight of these cats were ferals while the other five were 'friendly ferals'.
I did the trip both ways today; picking up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and bringing them to PAWS and then picking them up from PAWS this afternoon and bringing them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution. Super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's this morning and this evening, helping out with everything that needed doing - thanks Judy!
One of the ferals turns out to have been an already spayed female. Of the remaining 12 cats, six were females and six were males - once again a 50/50 split.
With these 12 cats fixed today, Feral Fixers has now processed 71 cats for the month of May, 319 for the year and 6,295 overall.
