Today, Feral Fixers sent in eight more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. Seven of these cats were ferals while the remaining one was a 'friendly feral'. Yes, we brought cats in on a Wednesday - Tammy is pushing everything hard, trying to keep us ahead of the game and ahead of as many feral kittens as possible...
Super-volunteer Charli picked up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and brought them to PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while super-Board-Member Kurt picked up the cats from PAWS in the afternoon and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution (Thanks Kurt!).
One of the ferals turns out to have been an already-spayed female. Three of the other cats were ferals while the other four were males - again a near 50/50 split.
With these seven cats, Feral Fixers has now processed 59 cats for May, 307 cats for the year and 6,283 overall.
