Announcing the 2023-2024 Holiday Card Contest!

Feral Fixers has been sending out Holiday Cards each year to our Friends & Supporters since 2009.

Since 2012, the pictures on these cards have been the winning entries in our annual Holiday Card Contest.

This year, again, we are asking our friends and supporters to send in pictures of their feral cats in the snow to grace our 2023-2024 Holiday card.

Pictures must show snow and a visible eartip on the cat(s). The picture can be in either landscape (wider) or portrait (taller) mode and we can handle just about any kind of file format, but we much prefer higher-resolution pictures that will look good printed on the card stock.

Please email your entries as an attachment to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If your entry is chosen we will ask you for a short biography of your cat that we can include on the card. Please note that by sending your picture(s) to Feral Fixers, you give us explicit permission to use them to print on the Holiday card or for any other purpose that we deem appropriate.

Contest ends April 15, 2023.

Thank you for all of your support and we are looking forward to some great pictures!

Below you can see all of our previous contest winners. Clicking on any of the pictures will link to a webpage with a full-size version of the picture.

FERAL CAT CARE VOLUNTEER QUESTIONNAIRE

Feral Fixers was founded to practice and promote Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We humanely trap cats that are living outdoors, have them spayed/neutered and then returned to their homes. To help us in this mission, we are looking for volunteers to help care for these feral cats while they are temporarily in our care.

Feral cats are brought to our location by trappers and caretakers throughout the week in preparation for them being taken to a spay/neuter clinic. Once they are done at the clinic, they are returned to our location for rest and recovery before they are picked up by their caretakers and returned to their home. While the cats are in our care, they are kept in traps or transfer cages, need to be fed and watered every day and need to have their litter paper changed at least once per day. Feral cats cannot be treated like house cats as they are unsocialized to humans and require careful handling. Trap dividers are used to enable safe access to the traps and transfer cages and allow for cleaning and feeding without contact with the feral cat.

We need volunteers both in the morning and in the afternoon, with "sessions" running from 1-3 hours. Volunteers are needed most days of the week, but this varies according to how busy we are.

You must be at least 21 years of age, have had prior experience with cats (prior experience with feral cats is a plus), agree to follow all Feral Fixers procedures and be willing to sign a waiver.

If you are interested in volunteering to help us care for these feral cats, please fill out this Questionnaire.

Note that you will be unable to save information on this Questionnaire and then return to it at a later date, so please complete the form in one session.

Once you have answered all of the questions, please click on the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

We at Feral Fixers thank you for submitting this Feral Cat Care Volunteer Questionnaire. It will be reviewed by our team. If approved for further consideration, we will reach out to you via phone or email.

If you have any questions, you may contact us at volunteer@feralfixers.org. Thank you for caring about the cats!
