Last Thursday, Feral Fixers brought in 13 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. Nine of the cats were ferals while the other 4 were "Friendly Ferals".

Super-volunteer Charli picked up the cats from Tammy's house in the morning and brought them to PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while super-volunteer Stacy picked up the cats from PAWS and brought them back to Tammy's in the evening for recovery and distribution (Thanks Stacy!).

Tammy gives us these additional notes:

One friendly kitten had a high grade 2 heart murmur, so did not get surgery. Sometimes the heart murmurs resolve themselves on kittens and we'll wait a month and see how she is then.

Let's hope the kitten's health issue resolves itself on its own...

Minus the kitten with the heart murmur, 12 cats were done on this trip. This brings our September total to 19, our total for 2013 to 819 and our overall total to 5,552.
