Today we brought 18 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. 14 of these cats were 'friendly ferals' while the remaining 4 were true ferals.

New super-volunteer Kris helped me pick up the cats at Tammy's this morning and transport them to PAWS and then helped me again in the afternoon picking up the cats at PAWS and bringing them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution. Thanks Kris!

And super-volunteer Judy was again at Tammy's both in the morning and in the afternoon helping out with all of the various chores required by such an effort as ours. Thanks Judy!

Everything was 'normal' about this load; no hoarder cats, no special-needs (except to get the mats ahaved out of one of them) and all cats received surgery. So, 18 for 18 today...

With these cats, Feral Fixers finished up August by doing a total of 162 cats - our second largest monthly total ever! For the year, we've processed 682 cats and, overall, we've processed 4,187 cats. Cat number 4,000 is already well into the rear-view mirror...
