Last Sunday, Feral Fixers brought in nine more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic. All of them were ferals.

Super-volunteer Jennifer picked them up from Tammy's and drove them to PAWS and new super-volunteer Jodie picked them up from PAWS and drove them back to Tammy's. Special kudos to Jodie who did this without a previous 'training run' - Tammy's instructions must have been great!

And today, we brought 14 more ferals to PAWS - I did the trip both ways. One of the cats had a very large abcess, however, and it was ruled out for surgery. PAWS opened up the abcess, cleaned it out, cleaned out all of the necrotic tissue and gave this cat a shot of Convenia too. We'll be bringing it back in on Sunday for a follow-up visit. Thank you PAWS - you guys truly rock!

With these 22 cats, Feral Fixers has now fixed 141 cats for the month (our second biggest month ever), 912 cats for the year and 3,393 overall.
