And, catching up a bit...

Feral Fixers had 14 more cats fixed last week - in two trips to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic.

On Sunday, April 13th, super-volunteer Jennifer picked up two feral cats from Tammy's in the morning and brought them PAWS (Thanks Jennifer!) while super-volunteer Maureen picked them up from PAWS in the afternoon and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution (Thanks Maureen!). One of the ferals was found to have already been neutered (but not ear-tipped) so we wound up having one cat fixed that day.

And this past Thursday, super-volunteer Charli picked up 15 cats from Tammy's (12 ferals and 3 friendlies) and brought them PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while I picked them up from PAWS in the afternoon and brought them back to Tammy's. One of the friendlies was deemed to be too ill to have surgery and one of the ferals was found to have been already spayed (again not ear-tipped) so we wound up having a total of 13 done that day. And once again, super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's to help out with everything that needed doing - thanks Judy!

So overall, we wound getting 14 cats fixed in these two trips. This brings our total for April up to 61, for the year up to 202 and 6,178 overall.
