With less than two weeks left in the year, this may be the last report of our spay/neuter trips for 2017!

Popcorn in Trap

Our two trips in one day brought our November total to 120. Our three trips in December were a total of 21, bringing our total for the year to 870 and our grand total since our start in 2007 to 10,315. Many thanks to Debbie, Charli, Dedra, Laura, Linda & Mark for transporting for us! These trips involved families of moms and kittens and several stray friendlies. One kitten came from a McDonald’s. We received a call, one of our volunteers was able to go later that day and met a group of ladies who had been feeding the cat, unbeknownst to the caller! She was trapped a few days later, went for s/n and one of the ladies intends to bring her in as a pet – very lucky kitty! Many cats are being brought in after their neuter, they don’t have to be fostered by us, which helps us so much!

Aren't I handsome?

Popcorn is another one of the friendlies that showed up – a shortened tail that appears to have been nipped off by something, a sore on his back and a torn claw on a front foot. Of course he is FIV+ and OF COURSE is a terribly sweet cat who only wants to be petted all day long! He’s looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt family!

We still have soooo many cats on hand, please donate to our Black Cat #Giving Tuesday fundraiser before 12/31/17 to support the cats in our care!
