Yesterday, Feral Fixers processed 10 more cats at the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic. All of them were ferals, though we have hopes that one of them might become a 'friendly feral'. He was treated as a feral (i.e. eartipped), but we also had him tested for FiV-FeLV and, fortunately, he was negative on both tests. Time will tell if "Tesch Sabo" truly decides to become an indoor cat or not.

Each of these cats was from a different location - 10 locations in 8 different towns!

We also had one cat with an apparently injured paw. PAWS checked it out, determined it was an old wound, cleaned the wound and gave the cat a shot of Convenia, a long-lasting antibiotic - Thanks PAWS!

Super-volunteer Jennifer picked them up from Tammy's and brought them into PAWS (Thanks Jennifer!) while I picked them up from PAWS in the evening and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery.

With these 10 cats, we've now done 92 cats for the month, 139 for the year and 2,620 overall.
