Yesterday, we processed six more cats at the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic in Chicago. Our Volunteer Jennifer drove them in (Thanks Jennifer!) while I picked them up and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery and post-operative processing.

Today, I brought in two more cats to PAWS and then picked them up in the evening. While two more cats may not seem like much (and maybe, not even worth the trip), actually they ARE worth the trip. Both of these cats were males and would, I'm sure, have been happily fathering kittens in their local neighborhoods. Now these big old Toms can go galavanting about, doing their thing, and we will not have to deal with the new kittens they would have helped create.

With these 8 cats, Feral Fixers has now processed 17 cats for September, 533 cats for the year 2009 and 1,144 overall.
