Still More!

We keep talking about taking a break, but the cats won’t stop!

  • On 11/28 we sent 4 friendlies and 1 feral to DCAS, 2 males, 3 females. The feral was an older kitten that was completely determined to remain feral and we could not change his mind – he went back to the caretaker and his daughter is going to continue working on Freddie.
  • On 12/2 18 kittens went to ADOPT, 8 males, 10 females – some will be at our Adoption Event on Saturday, December 10th, 11AM to 3PM.

This brings us to 54 cats in November, 18 in December, 709 for 2022 and 13,923 to date. We still have a couple dozen kittens to neuter and singles are still showing up at people’s doors!

This is what 18 kittens in carriers look like!

Finding A Home on Their Own

TNR’d cats are knocking on people’s doors. A gentleman called last week about two cats that had shown up and wanted inside. He had brought cats in before, so he was used to this. The original caretaker lives three doors down on the opposite side of the street and was ecstatic that they would have a home! Single, friendly kittens are showing up, completely handleable from the start and no, they have not been inside and gotten out. The word is out that that being inside is a good deal!

Staff at CTMechanical take on the mailing to those donors we haven't heard from in a while. Everyone is so busy, we know you still care, just need a reminder!
