No Shortage of Adoptables!

Our numbers constantly shift due to adoptions and new friendlies coming in but as I write this, we have 20+/- adults and 100+/- kittens on hand while 30 or so are posted. We could never keep up with posting everyone, so many cats are adopted even before they are posted which is why we advise everyone to submit their adoption applications well before an Adoption Event and to be very clear about their circumstances and what they want in the cats/kittens they want to adopt. Our next two Adoption Events will be 9/10 & 9/24 from 11 to 3 at our building, 330 Eisenhower Ln N, Lombard. We usually have 15 to 20 cats on hand at these events and, as you can tell, many more available!

Cats’ Calendars Are Not the Same as Ours!

Despite humans returning to school and work, there is no letup in kittens and friendlies showing up! Many of our fosters will be stopping for the year due to other responsibilities, yet the flow of cats in has not subsided. Check out our foster information on our website and consider fostering a litter of kittens, an adult or two, whatever works with your household. You will make a lasting difference in the lives of those cats and the lucky adopters who ultimately give them a wonderful home!

It's Inevitable – Without Spay/Neuter Kittens Happen!

Community Cats Podcast has an interesting take on the situation we find ourselves in, click on the link to see how we’re back where we first started with hard-to-find s/n slots – and I never really thought about how, typically, the lowest income households have the highest number of cats!

“As If They Were Our Own” Fundraiser

Our Fundraiser is off and running with a goal of raising $6,000 in matching funds by September 30th. Please help us meet our goal so that we can do all the vaccinations, upper respiratory treatments, wound care, congenital abnormalities! that come our way. Fall is usually even busier for some reason when it comes to that extra care that ferals need. Read about Squash and what a difference our care has made in his life! You, our donors, make that possible. Share a pic of the important cats in your life and help us to continue to support the many ferals of DuPage County! Whether $10 or $500, it will be matched up to $12,000, please share with friends and family and continue to help the cats!
