We learned of an auto paint shop that had at least 10 cats, the owner was planning on relocating the cats to his barn without neutering them first. Luckily, somebody told one of our volunteers who passed the info on and we were able to intervene. Two went to the barn before we could get there and its unlikely those will be neutered, but we did start on the others, since they were going to someplace where they could be warm after s/n. No kittens had survived in the last year at this location, most likely due to the chemicals they were surrounded by at all times. Since we were scheduling surgeries for these, we managed to get a couple more from other locations in as well.

  • On 1/14 we transported two ferals to ADOPT, both female.
  • On 1/20 we sent 5 ferals to ADOPT, 2 females and 3males.
  • On 1/28 we sent 5 ferals and 2 friendlies to ADOPT, 5 females, 2 males.
  • On 2/3 2 more ferals went to ADOPT, 2 females.

This brings us to 14 for January, 2 for February, 16 for 2022 and 13,230 since our start in 2007.
