Yesterday, Feral Fixers brought in four more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. All four cats were ferals with one being a female and other three being males. Super-volunteers Maureen and Kris did double-duty this day, both picking up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and taking them to PAWS and then picking up the cats in the afternoon and bringing them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution. Thanks Maureen! Thanks Kris!

In addition to doing the transport for these cats, they also got a chance to volunteer for a 'special job' at PAWS. Feral Fixers President, Tammy McAuley, fills us in on the details:

Maureen & Kris got down there early for pickup and jumped in to help wash 20 dogs that had arrived from Kentucky. PAWS was short-staffed and there was just one person who was faced with washing all these very sweet, dirty (lots of diarrhea when they travel long distances) dogs! Kris & Maureen enjoyed how cool the water was - such a humid day!

So thanks again to Maureen and Kris!

With these four cats, Feral Fixers finished up June with a total of 108 cats. We've now spayed/neutered 476 cats for the year and 6,452 overall.
