On Thursday, Feral Fixers sent in 29 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. Feral Fixers President Tammy tells us what happened:

Feral Fixers sent 29 cats to PAWS on Thursday, 7 ferals & 22 friendlies. Of these, 12 were female and 17 were male. One friendly male kitten had URI and was rejected for surgery. One feral female, who had diarrhea and otherwise appeared healthy, actually had a prolapsed rectum. There is a surgery, but because she was feral and there was no way to monitor her health sufficiently for the high possibility of infection, and the surgery is 50 - 50 successful, it was decided to euthanize her.

Charli & Debbie transported to PAWS in the AM and Dedra & Ted did pickup in the PM.

This makes 27 for this trip, 163 for the month of October, 975 for the year and 8,253 since our beginning.

Happy Halloween!

Thanks to our super-volunteer transport people Charli, Debbie, Dedra (and me)!
