Over the past week, Feral Fixers made three more trips to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic, bringing in cats to be fixed.

Last Sunday, November 3rd, Feral Fixers had two feral cats fixed by PAWS. Feral Fixers board member Kurt picked up the cats from Tammy's and brought them to PAWS and then picked up the cats from PAWS in the evening and brought them back to Tammy's. Thanks Kurt!

On Tuesday, Feral Fixers brought in five more cats, again all ferals, to be fixed by PAWS. Super-volunteer Dedra picked up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and brought them to PAWS and then also picked up the cats from PAWS in the evening and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution. Thanks Dedra!

And on Thursday, Feral Fixers brought in 44 more cats to PAWS. 27 of these were ferals and the other 17 were friendly ferals. Super-volunteer Charli helped me pick up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and bring them to PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while super-volunteer Stacy helped me pick up the cats from PAWS in the evening and bring them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution (Thanks Stacy!).

And as usual, super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's both in the morning and evening, helping out with everything that needed to be done - Thanks Judy!

Most unfortunately, one of the Ferals from Thursday's trip didn't make it. This cat made it all the way through surgery, but during the "wake-up and recovery process" stopped breathing. The PAWS people did everything they could to try and revive this cat, but to no avail. Of the approximately six thousand cats that we have brought to PAWS over the past six years, this is one of the very few (5? 6?) that had this unfortunate outcome.

Adding this all up, Feral Fixers has now fixed 51 cats for November, 1,139 for the year and 5,872 overall.
