Over the past week, Feral Fixers has made three more trips to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic, bringing in cats to be fixed.

On Sunday, October 27th, Feral Fixers Board member Kurt brought in five cats. Four were ferals while the fifth was a "friendly feral". One of the ferals turns out to have already been neutered while the friendly was not done because it was deemed not healthy enough for surgery. So, three cats were done this day. Kurt both picked up the cats from Tammy's and brought them to PAWS in the morning and then picked them up from PAWS in the afternoon and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution. Thanks Kurt!

On Tuesday, October 29th, Feral Fixers brought in nine more cats to PAWS. Eight of these were ferals while the ninth was a "friendly feral". I picked up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and brought them to PAWS while super-volunteer Dedra picked them up from PAWS in the evening and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution (Thanks Dedra!). All of the cats had surgery.

And yesterday, Thursday, October 31st, we brought in 32 more cats to PAWS. It was supposed to be 33, but at the last minute, it was decided to not bring in one of the friendlies. Of the 32 cats we transported to PAWS, 18 were ferals while the other 14 were "friendly ferals". One of the friendlies was deemed to be too ill to have surgery, so 31 cats were fixed this day. Super-volunteer Charli helped me pick up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and bring them PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while super-volunteer Dedra (doing double-duty this week) helped me pick up the cats from PAWS in the evening and bring them back to Tammy's (Thanks Dedra!).

And as always, super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's both in the morning and the evening, helping out with everything (Thanks Judy!).

So, if you add this all up, we had an additional 43 cats fixed at PAWS this past week. This brings our October total to 141, our yearly total to 1,088 and our overall total to 5,821.
