Today, Feral Fixers brought in 43 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. 27 of these cats were ferals while 16 were "Friendly Ferals".

Super-volunteer Charli helped me pick up the cats from Tammy's this morning and bring them to PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while super-volunteer Stacy helped me pick up the cats from PAWS this evening and bring them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution (Thanks Stacy!). And, as always, super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's both this morning and this evening helping out with everything that needed doing (Thanks Judy!).

One of the Friendly Ferals was deemed to ill to have surgery, so we wound up having 42 cats being fixed today. Of these 42, 28 were males while the other 14 were females, almost the exact opposite of the ratio in last week's load. By the time the year is over, this all balances out - with the ratio between males and females processed being very close to 50-50.

With these 42 cats, Feral Fixers has now processed 103 cats for June, 435 for the year and 5,168 overall.
