On Thursday, Feral Fixers brought in 14 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. Nine of these cats were ferals while the other five were "friendly ferals".

As Tammy's house is still "out of action" for TNR activities, the cats were collected at super-volunteer Judy's house. I picked them up from Judy's in the morning and brought them to PAWS while super-volunteer Stacy picked them up from PAWS in the afternoon and brought them back to Judy's for recovery and distribution. Thanks Judy! Thanks Stacy!

One of the friendlies turns out to have been already neutered, but unfortunately not micro-chipped (he is now micro-chipped as part of the 'package' done to him in his trip to PAWS). He was recognized by one of our other super-volunteers, Kim, as a Facebook posting of a lost cat and, after a few phone calls, he was reunited with his owner. So, we had a good outcome with all 14 cats!

With these cats, Feral Fixers finished up April with 74 cats. We've now done 231 cats for the year and 4,967 overall - just 33 more until we hit 5,000!
