Feral Fixers does not believe cats should be declawed. We realize that there are factors out of pet owners control that bring them to the decision to declaw. It is a difficult topic when health care workers, landlords, etc. mandate declawing and you feel you have no choice. When made aware of these constraints, Feral Fixers recommends that adopters search for cats that have already been declawed and will recommend cats from other rescues if that is the primary concern in adoption. As always, our concern is for the health and happiness of the cats.
