Feral Fixers brought in 19 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic today to be fixed. Seven of these cats were ferals while the other twelve were 'friendly ferals'.

Super-volunteers Charli and Debbie picked up the cats from Tammy's this morning and brought them to PAWS (Thanks Charli! - Thanks Debbie!) while this evening, the super-volunteer tag-team of Rita and Judy along with super-volunteer Heather picked up the cats from PAWS and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution (Thanks Rita! Thanks Judy! Thanks Heather!). And, of course, super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's this morning and this evening helping out with everything (Thanks Judy!).

Tammy provides some details:

Stopped raining as we loaded this morning, thank goodness! Cats were in fine voice on the way down! AND on the way back!

Eleven of the cats were female while the other eight were males - and one of the male friendlies was not operated on due to health concerns. So, all told, eighteen cats received surgery today. This gives us a total of 55 cats for June, 364 cats for the year and 7,642 overall.
