Today, Feral Fixers processed six more cats at the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic. Four of them were ferals while two were 'friendly ferals'. One of the friendlies (Mio) was a scared kitten who had been found hiding in a telephone box, in a park in Lombard. She was starving and Tammy fattened her up for several days before we brought her into PAWS. This park was near a bar and you can imagine the type of 'food' this cat had to subsist on before a very kind gentleman found her, trapped her and brought her to us (and the cat is being adopted by his sister so it's a story with a happy ending!)

I picked up the cats from Tammy's and brought them to PAWS this morning and then picked them up from PAWS this afternoon and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery.

With these six cats, Feral Fixers has now processed 34 cats for the month, 253 for the year and 2,734 overall.
