We brought in 18 cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic these past couple of days; 9 on Wednesday and 9 more on Thursday. On Wednesday, super-volunteer Jennifer drove them in (Thanks Jennifer!) and on Thursday, super-volunteer Judy drove them in (Thanks Judy!). I picked them up both days and brought them back to Tammy's...

The cats on Wednesday were all ferals while the cats on Thursday were all 'Friendly Ferals' and they were all kittens. I was 'serenaded' most of the way home on Thursday. It was quiet when we started out, but about 15 minutes into the hour ride, one of the kittens started peeping a little bit. This was soon joined by one of the others and then the entire 'choir' broke loose. Sometimes they were 'singing' together, sometimes they took turns, sometimes they were 'in harmony' and sometimes they were most definitely not...

I was happy to get back to Tammy's on Thursday and turn them over to Tammy & Judy...

With these 18 cats, Feral Fixers has now had 72 cats fixed this month, 327 this year and 1,806 overall since we started.
