It was less than 3 months ago that we reached the milestone of having had our 1,000th cat fixed. Today, we blew by 1,300. We did 11 more today (Jennifer drove them in this morning - thanks Jennifer! - and I picked them up this evening). These 11 cats came from 6 communities; Bensenville, Schaumburg, Glendale Heights, Lombard, Wheaton and Addison. Tammy sure has our trappers hopping!

With these 11 cats (which we again had processed at the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic), we've had 92 cats fixed this month, 699 this year and 1,310 overall. We're easily going to do 100 this month (probably tomorrow) which will make the second month this year we've processed at least 100 cats.

We could do more cats if we had more traps. At the top of our web homepage is a place where you can "Chip In" and help us buy more traps. We're already more than half way to our goal of $800 (which will allow us to buy 10 more traps). Please consider donating to this fund - the more traps we have, the more we can loan them out. And the more we can loan them out, the more trappers / caretakers we can enlist in this fight to end cat overpopulation.

Thank you!
